Beach Day in California

Las Brisas restaurant near Laguna Beach in CA. The restaurant was recommended by a friend who used to live in the area. The food was fantastic, all you can eat buffet for breakfast. We made a brunch out of it. Got to sit by a window with amazing views of Laguna Beach.

We then went down the steps from the restaurant and the kids played in the surf.

Brian is very dry right now, but about an hour later he was soaked all the way to his head. He said he liked the beach better than Disneyland. Andrew and Rachel had to follow him in. They all got pretty wet.

We went to a bakery that our friends recommended. The kids had fun with the bike rack out front.

We found the Hospital where I, Wendy, was born. This hospital is in Long Beach CA, and seconds, and I think a street away from the PCH.

This is my hungry family eating a red velvet cupcake at Sweet Jill's Bakery, in Long Beach. We also shared a huge cinnamon roll.

Here we are with Laguna Beach as our backdrop. We had such a fun day. We found the VA hospital where my father did his residency, and the two homes they lived in while they lived there. It was a great day!!!
